This 5-week summer session empowers kids to grow practical life skills through hands-on fun, real-world learning, and community-building. Students will become “Agents of Change”—learning how to make smart money choices, grow and cook their own food, and engage in meaningful social interactions

From running a pretend store with a grumpy shopkeeper to baking fruit tarts with local produce, kids will dive into functional skills like money math, cooking with fractions, and self-regulation through movement. They’ll plant seeds, track their growth, and follow food from garden to plate while exploring topics like food justice, herbal wisdom, and water cycles.

Each day includes group problem-solving, social-emotional skill-building (like agreeing to disagree and setting healthy boundaries), and interactive play with themes like city council meetings, politeness inspired by chickens, and survival gardening.

Expect dirt under nails, dough on hands, ideas flowing, and confidence growing.
